On May 1st, Envireau is merging with JDIH (Water & Environment) Ltd to form a new company with two operating areas; namely JDIH-Envireau and Carbon Zero Consulting. The new company offers exceptional expertise and advice in two major areas;

Water & Environment management; JDIH ENVIREAU offers the highest professional standard of advice in all areas of water and environment management while CARBON ZERO CONSULTING offers a high level of expertise in renewable energy technologies including; Ground-Source Heating & cooling, solar, biomass, mini-hydro and wind power.

We have spent the summer working closely with Geothermal International on a
large number of commercial and domestic ground-source heat pump schemes,
including a very large scheme for the new Kent Police HQ.

We are also in the process of commissioning a new borehole water supply for
Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa in Bagshot.

Envireau has now commissioned a new borehole water supply for the world-famous St Andrews Old Course Hotel and Spa in Scotland. The water supply completely replaces their mains water connection. As such it saves them many tens of thousands of pounds every year! In addition to the savings, they have a 'natural water' for their spa guests to enjoy!

We are now completing the final installation of treatment plant, storage and plant room at St Andrews Old Course Hotel. They will soon be on a 100% groundwater supply.

With the Hose Pipe Ban in the south-east we are helping several clients develop alternative sources of water. We have just installed a shallow water supply for Amida Spa golf course at Hampton, Twickenham. This will supply up to 20,000 litres per day - free! See picture attached for Gallery. We remain very busy working with Geothermal International. Ground-source heating and cooling is really starting to take-off throughout the UK with projects ranging from 6kW domestic installations right up to mega-Watt commercial schemes. Envireau's expertise is very well suited to managing the below-ground planning and installation for these renewable energy projects.

Our water supply projects at Pennyhill Hotel & Spa and St Andrews Hotel & Spa are moving toward completion. Both schemes have sufficent groundwater and so we are now designing treatment, storage and pumping plant.

Envireau were chosen as preferred bidders for managing the Bath Hot Springs monitoring system. Unfortunately B&NES Council then decided to undertake a review of the entire monitoring contract - as such we await news of when we will recommence this important task.

We have been helping Harper Adams University College with their groundwater resource development issues. The University is almost entirely groundwater-fed.

We started drilling at St Andrews Old Course Hotel in September. Initial pump test results suggest a good borehole capable of supplying the Hotel and new Spa!

John Has been very busy working with Geothermal International Ltd. John provides hydrogeological advice on their many commercial and domestic heating and cooling schemes. GI Ltd are the largest and longest established ground-source heat pump designer and supplier in the UK.

We are starting to drill at Pennyhill Hotel in Bagshot in November. We hope to find a supply of high quality natural water for the Hotel and Spa.

Envireau continues to work with Center Parcs to help manage their groundwater resources at their 4 sites in England.

Envireau has been asked by Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa to install a borehole water supply and treatment system. Work is due to commence in October this year with drilling contractor Wyatts. Pennyhill is an exclusive 5-star resort. It won the award for Best Destination Spa 2005. The borehole will be designed to produce over 100 cubic metres of water per day from the 'Bagshot Sandstone'.

We are very pleased to announce a link with Geothermal Heating International Ltd (GHI) to provide hydrogeology expertise to this rapidly growing company. GHI provide geothermal heating and cooling systems throughout the UK - see links page for their website.

Envireau has been asked by our partners at Aardvark to assess the feasibility of installing a groundwater source for a new leisure park in the Scilly Isles.We'll be visiting the site this summer!
