Spas
The
development and management of water supplies for spas is Envireau's core
area of expertise.
We are firm
believers that all spas should offer a source of natural water wherever
possible. After all, the presence of natural water was the reason for
all the UK spa towns to be established in the first place!
We are active
members of the Spa Business Association and are keen supporters of the
British Spa Revival! As such Envireau is the company of choice for all
spa water development projects and wider water management issues. 'We
are now even more closely involved with Spa BA as Anna and John are now
joint Project Development Managers working on National Spa Week and networking
events.
Projects already completed include:
Envireau
was contracted to B&NES Council to monitor the unique Bath Hot Springs,
2002-2004.
Envireau
monitors the borehole water resource for Nirvana Spa, soon to replace
100% of their town water supply.
We were
asked to design and manage the refurbishment and investigation of the
Hetling thermal borehole and other thermal sourcesin central Bath. The
work was performed in 45°C water with 10m of pressure! This highly
sensitive project was completed successfully and on time.
Envireau
has worked during 2004 and 2005 on the refurbishment and reinstatement
of the Cheltenham Spa water at Pitville. This historically important
source will once again be available in 2005.
Prior
to setting-up Envireau, John Findlay designed and constructed the borehole
water supply for Nirvana - the UK's largest day spa. Natural water is
now used throughout this major spa complex, including bottled water.
Envireau now manage this resource for Nirvana.
We worked
closely with the Osborne Property Group in 2003 to help them win the
tender to design and construct a spa and hotel at the Buxton Crescent.
This £25million project is now to get underway. Envireau provided
specialist input on the characteristics of the Buxton Spring.
Feasability
studies for Pennyhill Hoel and Spa and Amida Leisure Spas at Twickenham
and Beckenham for potential borehole spa water supply.
